The Coaching Digital Learning Institute (CDLi) is the annual offering of professional development specifically designed for k-12 digital coaches and educators by NC State University's
  Friday Institute for Educational Innovation.

This event is designed to support K-12 instructional coaches and the growing need for rigorous and on the ground professional development needed for educators implementing digital and
​blended learning in their schools and districts.

​This unique training emphasizes that technology is not the driving force of digital initiatives, but rather a deep understanding of the intersection of curricular standards and sound pedagogy through the use of content-specific and appropriate technology resources and applications. 
This professional capacity building is for Instructional technology facilitators, media coordinators, instructional specialists, and technology-driven educators and mentoring staff.

As the ones charged with assisting the growth of digital learning and teaching in your school/ district, you aren’t coaching and supporting technology, you are coaching and supporting POSSIBILITIES.  As a coach, you understand the need to look at education in a new way, to shift your perspective - it is all inventive. ​

You are a hero, and you train superheroes too. At CDLi, identify your sidekicks and coaching kryptonite, add and build onto your digital utility belt, and celebrate successes in order to inspire and empower student-centered learning.
